Elkridge Hurricanes Travel Baseball

Maryland's Premiere Local Youth Organization

Local pride. Top tier development. A tradition of excellence.

HISTORY

Baseball has a long-standing tradition in the Elkridge community, with its roots dating back to the mid-20th century. The sport has been an important part of Elkridge youth recreation programs, with organized baseball leagues for children and teenagers developing over the years. Elkridge Youth Organization (EYO) has been a key component to baseball's expansion in the region and throughout Maryland. Through the decades, Elkridge Baseball has grown in both size and prominence, and the Hurricanes have offered the top program in Howard County. A program that focuses on developing young athletes, promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Over time, it has produced some of the most successful teams in Maryland history, and helped foster a love for the game in the local community. Today, the Elkridge Hurricanes continue to be a beloved part of the town's sports culture, providing advanced opportunities for young players to learn, compete, and grow.

Leadership

Elkridge Travel Baseball has a strong dedicated staff of volunteers and board members who are dedicated to guiding tomorrows leaders on and off the field.

Elkridge And Beyond

Elkridge Youth Organization is centered around the Howard County Rec & Parks fields located at Rockburn Branch Park in Elkridge, MD. The program also utilizes fields and facilities in Elkridge, Ellicott City, and Columbia. Of the more than 200 travel baseball players in our program, 135 families call either Elkridge, Ellicott City, or Columbia home. We also have many families from Baltimore, Catonsville, Halethorpe, Hanover, and Laurel that are part of the Hurricanes family. Our community currently extends as far north as Cockeysville, as far south as Bowie, as far east as Pasadena, and as far west as Frederick.
